What are Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) blood tests?
MCED blood tests are tests that can detect signs of multiple types of cancer in a single sample of blood.
They may be able to detect cancers which the NHS don't currently screen for
There are currently clinical trials underway in the UK to test their efficacy

Our study:
We aim to identify the information and communication needs of healthcare providers, policy makers and diverse members of the public for MCED blood tests, with a focus on health equity.
To do this, we will conduct a series of in-depth qualitative studies:
